Jon Snow has been elected to rule the “GOT Party,” and the rock band Valyrian Steel, created by members of Tenacious D, are celebrating the victory with a song in his honor.

The narrow win by Snow and his running mate, Lyanna Mormont, in the Game of Thrones promotion inspired the celebratory flute-powered track, “Ode to Jon Snow,” which hails from Kyle Gass, John Konesky, and John Spiker of the comedy rock band Tenacious D.

The election for the leader of the “GOT Party” was created to mark the release of Game of Thrones season 6 on digital platforms. Throughout August, fans were able to vote between four nominees, each of whom had their own platform and even some vicious attack ads.

With more than 1.5 million votes cast in all, the northern duo of Snow and Mormont garnered 35 percent of the vote, edging out Snow’s maybe-aunt Daenerys Targaryen and her running mate Tyrion Lannister, who won 32 percent. Petyr “Littlefinger” Baelish and his surprise partner Sansa Stark made it a three-way race with 31 percent, while Cersei Lannister and Qyburn were left in the dust at 2 percent.
