It didn't totally work
Nothing can scare Aly Raisman, not even a prank from Ellen DeGeneres.
The gymnast, who won three medals at the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro last month, was a guest on Wednesday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show alongside her parents, and barely jumped when DeGeneres unleashed one of her patented scare tactics.
As Raisman’s parents, Lynn and Rick, discussed what it was like to watch their daughter during the Summer Games, a man dressed like a coach (or tennis player from the ’80s?) walked on to the stage to shout boo. While Lynn and Rick were slightly startled, Aly kept her cool.
“We should have just had Aly performing,” DeGeneres joked of the scare-free Raismans. “That would have scared [Lynn] much more.”
