Usher visited the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge Friday to promote his upcoming album Hard II Love — and to show off a cover of a hit Chainsmokers song that will definitely not let you down.

During the set, the former The Voice coach performed his new single “Crash” along with acoustic versions of previous hits “U Got It Bad” and “Climax.” And before the session ended, the R&B star put his soulful spin on the Chainsmokers’ club track “Don’t Let Me Down.”

The single, featuring vocals by Daya, first dropped in February and went on to peak at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. See Usher’s rendition of the song above, and hear Hard II Love, his eighth studio album and first in four years, when it arrives Sept. 16.
