HBO released its official marketing art for Westworld and the result is a tad unsettling.

The mysterious sci-fi drama’s poster includes the show’s double “W” logo, a glimpse of a scenic Western vista and a skeletal unfinished robotic “host.” As seen in the show’s trailer (below), the hosts are 3D printed by the futuristic pleasure-park’s human overlords.

Westworld also unveiled a new tagline: “Every Hero Has a Code,” a nod to how the protagonists in this update of Michael Crichton’s 1973 film are the androids more than humans that use them for entertainment.

The one-hour drama series kicks off its 10-episode debut season on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 9:00 p.m.

HBO's ambitious science-fiction thriller Westworld is based on the 1973 Michael Crichton film of the same name. The series developed by Jonathan Nolan stars Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, and more top names.
