Everyone has strange things in their past, even the young cast of Stranger Things. On Wednesday night, the show’s child actors — Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, and Gaten Matarazzo — stopped by The Tonight Show and played a game with host Jimmy Fallon. Each participant took turns reading a confession that someone in the group had written, after which everyone would spray silly string at the person they thought wrote it. Stranger Things, meet Stranger Strings.

The game started off properly, with a card (“I still use a night light”) that led to everyone spraying a different person, until McLaughlin coughed up. After a few rounds, the kids started hilariously teaming up against Fallon, spraying him in unison for both “I once cut my chin open on a desk by doing a cartwheel while dancing” and “I eat French fries on my hamburger.” (The second actually was him; the first was Wolfhard.)

The game climaxed, however, with the revelation that someone in the group could rap Nicki Minaj’s entire verse on Kanye West’s “Monster.” When Brown was revealed as the culprit, she proceeded to do so (at 4:42 in), rapping those iconic lines like “hairdresser from Milan, that’s the monster ‘do / Monster Giuseppe heel, that’s the monster shoe,” while everyone just sprayed silly string at each other. It shouldn’t be surprising, after all; these kids are well-acquainted with monsters.
