Batman Day: Dark Knight celebration includes free comics, signings
- TV Show
Grab a cape and cowl and hop in the Batmobile, this year’s annual celebration of Batman Day will give fans free goodies for their utility belt.
The legacy of the Dark Knight will be honored on Saturday, Sept. 17 when fans can get their hands on free copies of Batman #1 from this year’s DC Rebirth. Written by Tom King, with illustrations by David Finch, Matt Banning, and Jordie Bellaire, the new adventure will pit the Caped Crusader against Gotham City baddie Calendar Man.
Six Flags parks across the U.S. will distribute copies of the new iteration in the Batman mythos. Barnes & Noble, Pottery Barn Kids, Books-A-Million, and other retailers, as well as hundreds of schools and public libraries, will host events where fans can get the comic, as well as activity kits filled with trivia and games.
