Before The Magnificent Seven ride onto the big screen, Chris Pratt wants you to meet Josh Farraday — a.k.a., the gambler.

“Faraday’s a bit of a fox. He’s a trickster. He is a gambler, drinker. He loves the ladies,” Pratt says in a featurette released Wednesday. “But he’s deadly in a firefight.”

Not only that, Pratt posted a list of 14 teases for the film, including such gems as reasons 7 through 9: “horses … they eat hay … it’s soooooo goooood! the movie, not hay.” Pratt also teased the Training Day reunion of stars Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke and director Antoine Fuqua (“who is somehow not an exotic French person. But a super bad ass, cool, stylish American dude. And awesome director. He absolutely crushed it,” Pratt adds).

In the featurette, the Oscar-winning Washington praises Pratt’s acting chops and personality. “Chris, lot of talent on the screen,” he says. “He’s really a good dude. I like him a lot.”

See the featurette above. The Magnificent Seven debuts Sept. 8 at the Toronto Film Festival and opens wide Sept. 23.
