One day after being arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon charges, Chris Brown has put new music into the world.

The R&B singer released “What Would You Do?” on Wednesday night. Brown indicated something new was on its way in an Instagram video posted before the song’s debut. “All this bulls–t, everything going on man, I’m just gonna turn the other cheek,” Brown says. “Drop some music.”

Brown was arrested Tuesday after a nine-hour standoff with police outside his home in the Los Angeles suburb of Tarzana. Baylee Curran claimed Brown pointed a gun in her face and cursed her out after she was admiring some jewelry in his house. Police were called to the house around 3 a.m. local time.

There aren’t specific references to the alleged incident in “What Would You Do?,” but the song has a Brown-against-the-world theme. “What do you do fightin’ for your life, and no one’s on your side?” he sings in the chorus.

The 27-year-old Brown was released on $250,000 bail late Tuesday night. He’s scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 20.
