According to Luther star Idris Elba, we should start preparing for more of the BBC America crime series.

In response to a Twitter question about the chances of seeing new episodes, Elba replied, “Big chance. Watch this space.”

Luther ran for three seasons from 2010 to 2013 with the finale leaving most fans with a satisfying conclusion. The cast and crew later returned for a 2015 special with a new case involving a cannibal. Series creator and writer Neil Cross told EW at the time that they “put the band back together for no other reason than we all just wanted to do it.”

He said, “At that state we essentially thought the show was over. Not because we don’t all love it but the timing — Idris is a star of some considerable stature and it just began to look impractical that we would ever be able to make any more.”

Before the special, Elba expressed his interest in returning to the character, and now it seems he has another go in him. See his tweet below.

The leading man has since bulked up on his film roles. This year alone saw him as the voice of Shere Khan and Chief Bogo in The Jungle Book and Zootopia, the villain Krall in Star Trek Beyond, and he’ll star as Stephen King’s Gunslinger in The Dark Tower
