Carly Rae Jepsen marked the one-year anniversary of her E·MO·TION album by releasing E·MO·TION Side B, the pop singer’s latest project that heralds the arrival of new music.

In a message to fans posted on Twitter, Jepsen wrote, “E·MO·TION Side B almost never was. Well, technically all the songs existed I just didn’t think to share them until we toured. But meeting many of you face to face, getting to share in one of the most joyful touring experiences of my life, all I wanted was to give back more of the feelings you all gave me.”

She continued, “So this is for you guys, a B sides album full of some extra tunes we made on the journey to E·MO·TION. I hope you enjoy.” Jepsen concluded her message by calling the EP “something to hold yah over” until her “new album” is ready.

Side B features nine tracks, beginning with the Madonna- and Janet Jackson-esque “First Time.” Take a listen below.
