Vincent D’Onofrio (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) and Dean Norris (Breaking Bad) have joined the Eli Roth-directed remake of Death Wish, EW has confirmed.
The upcoming thriller also stars Bruce Willis, who plays Paul Kersey, a man who loses his wife and child in a violent crime. Kersey takes justice into his own hands and begins hunting down each of the responsible individuals. D’Onofrio will play Kersey’s brother, with Norris as Detective Rains.
The Paramount and MGM film is a remake of the 1974 film that starred Charles Bronson, which was based on the Brian Garfield book of the same name.
D’Onofrio currently stars on the Netflix action series Daredevil and can be seen in the upcoming horror film Rings and The Magnificent Seven remake. Norris will star opposite Britt Robertson in the Netflix comedy series Girlboss slated for a 2017 release, has a guest-starrng role on The Big Bang Theory‘s upcoming season, and will costar in the Colin Trevorrow drama The Book of Henry.
