Tim Burton’s latest fantastical feature, Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children, isn’t due out until the end of September, but fans can get an advance taste of its theatrics now: Florence + the Machine’s heart-swelling contribution to the film’s soundtrack, “Wish You Were Here” is out today.

Of the song, the London-born singer said via a release, “While working on this song for the film I read all of the Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children books and loved them. I imagine I looked super cool pushing 30 and visiting the young adult section in the bookshops to find them.” She adds, “It’s nice that to be peculiar is sort of celebrated in this film — a celebration of your individuality and your peculiarities as your biggest strengths,” she says. “I was probably called peculiar quite a lot at school. I think my biggest strength came when I stopped trying to fit in.”

“Wish That Your Were Here” is streaming below. Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children is due out Sept. 30. The most recent trailer, which includes the band’s new song, is now available
