In June, the seminal producer DJ Shadow returned with The Mountain Will Fall, his first album in five years. The record’s highlight was “Nobody Speak” — featuring Run the Jewels’ MCs Killer Mike and El-P — which received an epic music video treatment Wednesday.

Sam Pilling, who has previously worked on clips for J. Cole, Major Lazer, and the Weeknd, directed the video, which depicts a surreal melee in a UN-style chamber; the clip’s visuals pair well with its politically incendiary lyrics — particularly El-P’s threat to “flame your crew quicker than Trump f—s his youngest.” Both Killer Mike and El-P make cameos in the video.

El-P and Killer Mike are still hard at work on their follow-up to Run the Jewels 2, which was one of EW’s favorite albums of 2014. (The rap duo did release a remixed version of that record named Meow the Jewels, composed of various cat noises, in fall 2015.) Earlier this month, El-P offered another updated about the anticipated album. “I’d like to apologize to all friends, fam, associates, etc for my inability to do anything other than work on rtj3,” he wrote. “S— is real. REAL.”

Despite the absence of new music, Run the Jewels have remained in the cultural conversation, whether they were criticizing Kevin Hart for the name of his latest project or ardently supporting former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
