Final Five gymnastics team saw 'Hamilton'
The women’s U.S. gymnastics team finished a massive press day in New York with a trip to one of the city’s greatest new landmarks: Hamilton.
The Final Five — Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Madison Kocian, and Laurie Hernandez, who took home the team gold at the Rio Olympics — piled into Richard Rodgers Theater to see Tuesday night’s showing just after filming a spot on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Just one day before, U.S. swimmer Maya DiRado attended the show, and brought her gold medals to show the cast. Michael Luwoye, who recently joined the cast to play Hamilton’s alternate (the title character is now played by Javier Muñoz, not Lin-Manuel Miranda), posted a photo with her after the show.
