Kanye West is asking big radio for a favor: Play Frank Ocean. A lot.

After praising Ocean’s second album, Blonde, over the weekend, West asked the network giants to show the avant-garde R&B artist some love. “If anyone at radio really loves music … Come together and pick your favorite Frank Ocean song and play it at least 10 times a day,” he tweeted. “Every station across the globe. I Heart. Clear Channel local stations. Satellite. Every station. This will make the world better.”

West, who said that he and fellow rapper Drake dig Ocean’s music, also pleaded for people to think about why they value music. “Ask yourself Why did you love music in the first place and what can you do to add to the story,” West tweeted. “Power to the people. Power to the artist. Empower the artist and create a more inspired world.”

Ocean released Blonde and a visual album, Endless, last week, four years after his stunning debut, Channel Orange. Blonde was worth the wait; read EW’s A review of the album.
