Jon Favreau is no stranger to the Honest Trailers team — Iron Man got the truthful treatment last summer, and now his latest movie, Jungle Book, is in the snarky spotlight of the popular YouTube series.

From the start, the Screen Junkies original production hails the Swingers actor for becoming “one of today’s best directors,” for Iron Man and Elf, “to becoming one of the worst,” singling out Cowboys vs. Aliens and Iron Man 2, “to one of the best again” for 2014’s Chef. As the latest Disney animated classic to get the live-action treatment, the trailer credits the box office smash for being “a well-written, visually stunning, action-packed movie with great characters,” the narrator states, that is “way better than it deserved to be.”

Hollywood A-listers Christopher Walken, Idris Elba, Ben Kingsley, Bill Murray, and Scarlett Johansson aren’t immune to the jabs, either. While trying to bring their own spin to these beloved characters, the narrator says they’re just “pretending to be animals who act just like those same Hollywood A-listers.”

While Andy Serkis isn’t in Favreau’s movie, even he gets a shout-out; the Lord of the Rings and Planet of the Apes actor is playing the bear Baloo in a version of the movie he’s directing for Warner Bros, one the Honest Trailers team seems to think it’s a, well, necessity. “Hey guys, you know sometimes it’s okay to just, you know, like, not make a movie,” quips the narrator about Serkis’ upcoming remake.

Check out the full Honest Trailer above, which ends questioning whether a sequel will set up the live-action remake of TaleSpin.
