George Foreman will eat anything, even dirt.
Speaking with EW at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour, Foreman’s Better Late Than Never costars William Shatner and Jeff Dye spilled some fascinating stories about the things they’ve seen Foreman eat on their show, which debuts Tuesday on NBC.
“[The chef] added something unique to the food,” Shatner said of a particularly interesting restaurant meal they had. “I said, ‘My God, it looks like dirt,’ and it turned out to be dirt — special dirt. And George Foreman said, ‘I like it. Reason I like it is that’s what I had to eat when I was a kid.'”
Apparently, Foreman can stomach anything, and Dye took this as a challenge. Watch the interview to hear how Dye tested Foreman’s food limits.
The series finds Terry Bradshaw, Henry Winkler, Foreman, and Shatner heading to Asia with Dye as their guide. Better Late Than Never debuts Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
