Aretha Franklin needs R-E-S-T.
The music legend has canceled a couple of upcoming concerts due to health concerns.
“Due to doctors’ orders I will have to cancel a few concerts for the next month or so,” Franklin, 74, said in a statement as reported by Associated Press.
She will be unable to perform at the Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts on Aug. 26 near Vienna, Virginia.
The 18-time Grammy winner has also canceled two shows at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall including the “Tony Bennett Celebrates 90” on Sept. 15 and a solo headlining gig on Sept. 23.
Franklin shared that she should return to performing in November.
