Count your sins and take a ride with EW’s exclusive first-look teaser for season 2 of GSN’s Hellevator.

The return of the genre-bending competition series will deliver the scares that executive producer Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, The Purge) is known for, combined with returning hosts and horror film icons Jen and Sylvia Soska (American Mary), who will once again add a new floor of fear. The teaser reveals a theme of “Seven Deadly Sins,” where each specially-themed episode is inspired by a true crime story.

Additionally, the “Twisted Twins” will work from their secret lair to torment and trip-up a team of four friends as they struggle through an abandoned slaughterhouse. Not only is the sanity of the players at stake, but so too is a prize of $50,000, which will be rewarded for completing the heart-stopping final stage known as “The Inferno.”

Season 1 of the series placed teams of three in the challenge of navigating a labyrinth filled with terrifying trials where only the strong-willed would survive.

Fans can step into season 2 of the Hellevator for its four-part special event beginning Friday, Oct. 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on GSN.
