Rupert Grint is breaking bad.

The former Harry Potter star has been tapped to lead Crackle’s new series Snatch, based on the Guy Ritchie cult classic of the same name. Grint, playing the chaotic and posh Charlie Cavendish, will also executive produce the series. The 10-episode first season will premiere in 2017 on the free, ad-supported service.

Inspired by a real-life London heist, Snatch centers on a group of 20-something, up-and-coming hustlers who stumble upon a truckload of stolen gold bullion and are suddenly thrust into the high-stakes world of organized crime. The boys must quickly learn to navigate the treacherous waters of London’s underworld as rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains descend.

The series will be a new world but retain the vibe and feel of Ritchie’s movie. The 2000 film starred Jason Statham, Brad Pitt, and Benicio Del Toro as a part of two seedy underworlds (diamond theft; fight-fixing) that ultimately collide.

Snatch also brings aboard Dougray Scott (Fear The Walking Dead) to the cast as Vic Hill. Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick will appear in a guest capacity as Sonny Castillo. Nick Renton (The Musketeers, Jericho) will direct the series.

Filming begins next week in Manchester, England.
