New Kings of Leon music is officially en route. The family band confirmed the collection over the weekend with a series of social media posts. “The wait is over. 7 is coming,” they tweeted. And while the video embedded in each post lists the names of their previous six collections, but not the name of the seventh, the hashtag #WALLS accompanying each posts suggests that is the title.

Last June, Caleb and Nathan Followill, the band’s frontman and drummer, told SiriusXM Alt Nation they had indeed begun work on the set. “We’ve been at home writing, trying to get some new stuff going,” said Nathan. “And we kind of had to put it on hold because we have this and another festival coming up, but we have big enough breaks in between most of them to where I think we’re gonna be able to get the album written by the end of the year.”

Caleb added, “But record number seven, most people take like, what, five years to make that or something? So we’re still in the very early stages of our five-year plan for this next record.”

And while music has yet to be heard, one surprise was already revealed via guitarist Matthew Followill’s Instagram account. As he posted behind the scenes photos from the studio, one showing producer Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Björk) helming the sound bar. This marks a lineup change for the outfit who have worked with Angelo Petralgia on every prior album.

An official release date for the album has not been revealed. The teaser video, along with all official social media posts from their bands are below.
