Saturday Night Live supercut shows actors breaking character to laugh
Saturday Night Live has been making audiences laugh for over 40 years, but a new supercut shows dozens of times the actors made themselves laugh.
The compilation of giggling actors breaking character during sketches proves that no comedian is exempt from slipping up every now and then. Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon, and Maya Rudolph are all guilty of resisting the urge to laugh, but the actor with the most instances of breaking in the supercut is Bill Hader, especially when he was playing the eccentric Stefon and recommending some very interesting New York City clubs.
Hader is still a pro at keeping it together compared to Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Sanz, whose constant breaking was highlighted in Andy Samberg and Adam Sandler’s digital short on the SNL 40th Anniversary Special.
