You don’t need to be a costumed superhero to cross over on The CW.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has enlisted Yael Grobglas, who currently tears up the scenery on the network’s spiritual sibling series Jane the Virgin, to pop up in the cast of the sophomore musical series, EW has learned.

Grobglas will appear in the fourth episode of Crazy’s second season as Trina, described as a “dynamic young businesswoman” who hires Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) and the Whitefeather folks to represent her firm. As a result, Trina “sets Rebecca’s life on a surprising new course.”

Don’t hold your breath for Grobglas to burst into song — but do count on her letting loose on the zany series perhaps even more than she already does on Jane the Virgin (on which she’s now playing long-lost twins… so, competition’s tough).

The second season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend premieres Friday, Oct. 21 at 9 p.m. on The CW.
