Another day, another batch of teasers for American Horror Story season 6 — only these might give you a toothache.

The latest promo footage from the still-mysterious run sees a nurse cutting down a wind chime containing teeth and a corn husk puppet with a pair of sheers, letting its contents litter the floor. Is this image representative of the overall theme for season 6? It’s hard to tell, since FX CEO John Landgraf revealed many of these teasers are misdirects to keep the plot a secret.

The network also released a new promo poster to go with our spider-eyed lady. This one features dangling metal hooks warped into the shape of the show’s new question mark logo. See it below, and watch the promo in the video above.

After these teasers hit the web, another one appeared — and perhaps it holds some answers. Much like American Horror Story: Asylum, this new one features an alien abduction that goes horribly, horribly wrong. See it below.

Landgraf explained during the TCAs, “Every year, we’ve basically laid out the themes, the new genre that [showrunner Ryan Murphy’s] going to be approaching, and we just thought [this year] it’d be really fun to keep it a mystery. So, we are. The scripts come in, and they’ve got my name emblazoned across them and there’s only one script that comes into the company.”

American Horror Story season 6 will debut on FX Sep. 14.
