Seth Rogen is bringing anthropomorphic food items to theaters with his raunchy, R-rated comedy Sausage Party, so it’s only fitting that he brought talking sustenance to actual grocery stores as well.

In a stunt promoting the upcoming animated film, animatronic cantaloupe, bread, and sausage were planted around a New York City grocery store to the shock (and delight) of passing shoppers.

Rogen voiced the melon from a separate room behind the scenes, mocking a group of passing teenagers and asking a woman eating a piece of cantaloupe if that was his nephew. (She said it was.)

Watch the full prank above. Sausage Party is in theaters now.
