The recently released trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story seems to have found an unlikely critic in The Force Awakens baddie, Kylo Ren.

In a comedic video from the YouTube duo Auralnauts, the chief villain of Episode VII watches and reacts to the new trailer for Rogue One, a stand-alone story set not long before the events of the original 1977 Star Wars film.

Ren enjoys mocking the good guys, including Chirrut Imwe (Donnie Yen), a blind monk-warrior who single-handedly takes down a squad of Stormtroopers. “Oh yeah, one man and his stick against lasers,” jokes Ren. “Where can I find a stick? I’d be unstoppable.”

Not surprisingly, his favorite moments feature his bad guy predecessors, including Ben Mendelhson as Director Krennic. But perhaps surprisingly given his devotion to his grandfather in The Force Awakens, he’s less than thrilled to see Darth Vader appear at the end of the trailer, and he turns to rage as he faces the possibility that a certain actor who played young Anakin Skywalker is once again donning the helmet.

“Grandfather? Wait, who is playing grandfather?” he angrily asks. “Is that Hayden? Oh my god, it’s Hayden isn’t it? Why would they do this to me?” Then, just like in Force Awakens, Ren takes out his lightsaber to carve up some control panels on his ship.

Rogue One lands in theaters on Dec. 16.
