Weezer knows how to turn a show into a family affair.

During a live performance in Irvine, California Wednesday night, lead singer of the band Rivers Cuomo pulled up his dad Frank on stage to perform the hit “Beverly Hills.” Dad is no stranger to music, though; he is a musician with the former jazz band Weather Report.

The group shared the moment via Instagram, with a photo of both Cuomo’s giving it their all on stage. “For only the second time, Rivers is joined by his dad Frank Cuomo on stage, at #irvinemeadows on 8/6/16,” captioned the band on their social media post. “Frank was a jazz percussionist in NYC in the late 60’s, and brought a fine flavor to ‘Beverly Hills,’ layering up sweetly over Pat’s massive backbeats.”

Three nights earlier at the band’s Chula Vista, Calif. show, the Weezer frontman pulled his daughter Mia on stage to help out on the keyboard.

Weezer is heading into the final stretch of its White Album tour, with a final stop in Tucson, Arizona for KFMA’s Fall Ball Music Festival on Oct. 16.
