Getting in Jack Reacher’s way seems to be a bad idea at this point. The new spot for Jack Reacher: Never Go Back confirms that.
Tom Cruise returns as the titular hero of Lee Child’s book series, talking down local cops, hitchhiking, and besting four baddies without a weapon. Paramount unleashed a new post for the action pic, too, with a beat-up Reacher serenely posing in front of an aerial shot of Washington, D.C.
The roaming ex-military agent heads back to Virginia and meets up with the head of his former unit, Major Turner (Cobie Smulders). But when she’s accused of espionage, Reacher breaks Turner out and tries to find who’s responsible for killing the soldiers formerly under her command.
Director Edward Zwick (The Last Samurai) reunites with Cruise on the movie, written by Child and Marshall Herskovitz.
