Jack Garratt and Gallant gave Janet Jackson’s “I Get Lonely” a soulful makeover.

In a video released Wednesday, the R&B crooners strip down the 1998 single, cutting its slow jam pop to an electric guitar and vocals.

Culled from Jackson’s sixth studio album, The Velvet Rope, the original song marked her 18th consecutive Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. She was the first female vocalist to achieve such a feat. The track also earned a Grammy nom for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance.

The cover video is the third installment of Gallant’s “In the Room” series, which previously featured Seal and Sufjan Stevens. Both Gallant and Garratt released critically acclaimed debut albums in 2016. Garratt put out Phase in February, and Gallant shared Ology in April.
