Harry Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts casts Zoe Kravitz

There’s room for one more in J.K. Rowling’s wizarding world.

Zoe Kravitz has landed a role in the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, EW has confirmed.

The Mad Max: Fury Road and Allegiant actress joins a deep cast that includes Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Colin Farrell, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, and Samantha Morton.

As first reported by the Hollywood Reporter, Kravitz has a small role in the film but may play a larger part in its recently confirmed sequel.

Author Rowling is making her screenwriting debut on Fantastic Beasts, which is based on her fictional Hogwarts textbook of the same name. Veteran Harry Potter helmer David Yates is directing the movie, which is set in 1920s New York and follows the adventures of magizoologist Newt Scamander (Redmayne).

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them opens Nov. 18, and the sequel is scheduled to arrive Nov. 16, 2018.
