Rupert Grint apparated to the West End on Wednesday night.

The actor best known for playing Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films dropped by the wildly hyped production of the canon’s latest addition, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, beating costar Daniel Radcliffe (but not Emma Watson) to the theater.

The 27-year-old Grint met the cast after the show and spent time with Paul Thornley, who plays an adult Ron in J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany’s story.

Grint has joined a flurry of Harry Potter alum to drop in to London’s Palace Theatre. His on-screen sister Bonnie Wright met the new Ginny, Poppy Miller. Bellatrix Lestrange herself, Helena Bonham Carter was at the same showing.

Two days before Grint saw the show, Jim Broadbent — the actor behind Professor Slughorn — also popped in and said hello to the cast.

See photos of Grint and Broadbent’s visits below.
