Leslie Odom Jr. was in the room where it happens at Thursday night’s Sleep No More performance in New York City.

The Tony winner surprised audiences with a guest appearance during the production at the McKittrick Hotel, playing the Doctor. Sleep No More, an interactive theater experience inspired by Shakespeare’s Macbeth, involves audience members donning masks as they navigate the mysterious “hotel” and its different rooms.

Odom recently wrapped up a July residency at McKittrick’s Manderley Bar, where he performed songs from his new self-titled jazz album. Odom is not the first star to make a guest appearance in Sleep No More, which has previously welcomed Neil Patrick Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, and Dita Von Teese to the interactive event.

Leslie Odom Jr.’s self-titled album is out now. Sleep No More continues its run at the McKittrick Hotel, with tickets available here.
