Ron and Tammy are back! Kind of!

The season 2 premiere of Life in Pieces will feature the guest-star power of Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally, CBS announced on Friday.

The married couple will not pop up as spouses on the family comedy but rather siblings that are extremely, if not uncomfortably, close. Mullally — who guest-starred on Offerman’s Parks and Recreation as Ron’s crazy ex-wife — will play Mary-Lynn, the broad-minded, carefree mother of Clementine (Hunter King). When her husband left her with baby Clementine, she tasked her brother, Spencer (Offerman) to multitask as “Uncle Dad.” Mary-Lynn and Spencer are so close, they sleep in twin beds in the same bedroom. Spencer, who is effectively serving as Clementine’s uncle and father is highly committed to his paternal role, and “supports both Clementine and his sister, maybe a little too much.”

Mullally, who won two Emmys for her role on Will & Grace, recently starred in Children’s Hospital as well as You, Me, and the Apocalypse. She also voices a character on Bob’s Burgers and will appear on the big screen this Christmas in Why Him?.

After Parks and Recreation ended, Offerman had a recurring role in Fargo, and stars on the big screen later this year in The Founder. His recent credits also include A Walk in the Woods and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl. Mullally and Offerman, who are both filming an indie comedy Infinity Baby, have also been touring with their comedy show Summer of 69: No Apostrophe.

Life in Pieces returns to CBS on Oct. 27 for season 2.
