Chaotic Good

Set in the wake of a global neurological epidemic, the new science fiction film Embers features five interwoven tales that explore how humanity might learn to love and communicate in a world without memory.

Directed and co-written by first-time filmmaker Claire Carré, Embers stars Jason Ritter (Joan of Arcadia, Parenthood), Iva Gocheva (Sneakers), and Dominique Swain (Lolita).

Embers can be watched now through The Orchard via VOD on Amazon and iTunes. The film makes its theatrical debut through Slamdance Studios Friday at ArcLight Hollywood and as part of the ArcLight Presents Slamdance Cinema Club. The filmmakers will take part in a Q&A at the venue Aug. 7 and at ArcLight Chicago Aug. 25.
