Kyra Sedgwick is returning to primetime TV to star in a new thriller on ABC.

The network has ordered 10 episodes of Ten Days in the Valley, which both stars and is executive produced by the former The Closer star.

Sedgwick plays “an overworked television producer and single mother in the middle of a fractious separation. When her young daughter goes missing in the middle of the night, Jane’s world — and her controversial police series — implodes. Life imitates art: everything’s a mystery, everyone has a secret, and no one can be trusted.”

Tassie Cameron (Rookie Blue) will serve as showrunner on the project, with other executive producers including Jill Littman, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Marcy Ross. No premiere date has been set.
