Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen are both set to star in the upcoming dark comedy Ingrid Goes West, EW has confirmed.
The film follows Ingrid (Plaza), a young woman who becomes obsessed with a social media star. Her dedication as a fan leads her to pack up her life and move to Los Angeles in the hopes of befriending the internet sensation.
The Parks and Recreation actress is also set to produce the film alongside Star Thrower Entertainment’s Tim and Trevor White (Jamesy Boy). The film will be directed by Matthew Spicer, who co-wrote the script alongside David Branson Smith. Spicer, who penned the coming-of-age comedy Flower, is also writing the upcoming Rocketeer reboot
Ingrid Goes West is currently filming in Los Angeles.
