What would Suicide Squad look like if Quentin Tarantino assembled Task Force X instead of Viola Davis’ Amanda Waller? While a new parody video from Loot Crate showcases a different vibe and character lineup, it’s still made up of “the best of the worst.”
“You’ve written some of the most depraved and violent people the world has ever known,” Waller (played here by Alex Marshall-Brown) tells Tarantino (Eric Satterberg) as he devours a Big Kahuna burger. “I want you to assemble a team.”
Instead of Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, and the like, Tarantino’s Suicide Squad features The Bride and Gogo from Kill Bill, Vol. 1, Django from Django Unchained, Lt. Aldo Raine from Inglourious Basterds, and Jules from Pulp Fiction.
“Here’s the deal, all right?” Tarantino says, mimicking the speech Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) gives his supervillain squad. “We’re gonna go somewhere very bad to do some very bad things to some very bad people.”
