The road leading up to Rihanna’s ANTI was long and arduous — particularly for hungry fans — but the singer’s new music video for “Goodnight Gotham” is one of the shortest (and sweetest) of her career.

Shot on the fly in Dec. 2014, the minute-long clip begins with the singer exiting a promotional shoot for the LP in Paris’ Trocadéro Square as she admits she’s about to do “the craziest thing” she’s ever done: run (in slow-mo) toward a pack of fans, who hoist her high into the night sky as the Eiffel Tower frames looms overhead.

As paparazzi bulbs flash around her, Rihanna points, smiles, waves, and poses for selfies as she crowd-surfs through the group.

Appearing as a bonus track on the deluxe edition of ANTI, “Goodnight Gotham” was co-written by Rihanna, Paul Epworth (Adele’s 25), and Florence Welch.
