Stranger Things prank: Netflix series scares cast, fans during interview
The cast of Stranger Things thought they were sitting down for an interview during the red carpet premiere, but they soon became victims of Netflix’s freaky prank.
“I’m terrified,” Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) said in response to a question, but she was soon interrupted by white noise from an unplugged radio and flickering lights. Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin), Noah Schnapp (Will), and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas) were quick to point out the similarities to what happens on the show, but they too were visibly on edge.
The series directors, Matt and Ross Duffer, kept it together, though Matt let out a few “Oh s–t”s when a picture fell off the wall, an ottoman slid across the floor, and a wall began to move. See more reactions from Natalie Dyer (Nancy), Joe Keery (Steve), Peyton Wich (Troy), and Cade Jones (James) in the video above.
Elsewhere, Netflix pulled the same prank on a some fans after an early screening of the first two episodes of Stranger Things. See them below.
