Joe Gorga works hard to support his family, helps his wife Melissa launch her new boutique, and dotes on the couple’s three children. With all that on his plate, he’s bound to get frazzled from time to time — and that’s what happens in an exclusive clip from Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

“Joey, what are you doing? Lemme see, what are you doing?” says Joe, trying to get his kids to settle down while he’s on the phone with Melissa. “C’mon Gino, cut it out. Cut it out.”

After giving his final warning line — “Hey, hey, hey!” — Joe sends his boys to the backyard, where their sister Antonia is climbing a rock unattended and the family dog is wandering about in a luxe doggy sweater.

“Hello?” says Melissa, wondering what kind of mayhem is breaking loose while she’s gone.

“You gotta come home,” he tells her. “I have a problem on one of my jobs.”

But that’s just not going to work for Melissa. “I’m at the store,” she explains. “I cannot come home.”

Joe amps up his demands, prompting Melissa to shut him down: “Whoa, whoa, whoa. You told me that you were going to hang with the kids.”

Alas, with the pressure of his multi-million dollar project building up, Joe erupts: “You got a bunch of clothes! You’re dealing with clothes!”

And then he counters her argument with a supposed deal they made years ago. “C’mon, babe,” he pleads. “This wasn’t our deal. Our deal was I get married to you, and you watch the kids.”

Melissa, finding that a “little insulting,” tells him it’s time to “man up.”

Find out what happens next in the clip below. The Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
