“Don’t let hate change the way you hydrate!”

Saturday Night Live‘s Weekend Update team of Colin Jost and Michael Che wanted to help the good, hot people in Philadelphia for the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday’s scorching, 100-degree day, so they hit the streets to hand out free bottles of water. Trump Ice water.

The reactions were priceless. “Oh, no, no, no,” said one woman as she handed the bottle back to Che. “I’d rather die of thirst!” shouted another. One woman with good manners kindly said, “No thank you. I’ll walk away tired and thirsty.”

Eventually, Che and Jost found some takers… and even talked a few into performing dramatic spit-takes for the camera.

After a wonderfully ridiculous moment where Jost and Che on the street throw it back to Jost and Che at their desk, Che admitted, “Everybody took the water. We’ll be honest. It was hot.”
