Fred Armisen holding a giant cell phone! Bill Hader sporting a bald spot! Someone named Tubby Tammy!

No longer in its golden anniversary, Documentary Now! — IFC’s series dedicated to lovingly spoofing classic docs — will dive into a whole new slate of prestigious “films” for its seven-episode 51st season (in reality, its second), all reimagined by Saturday Night Live alums Hader, Armisen, and executive producer Seth Meyers.

In the exclusive teaser below presented by host Helen Mirren, a glimpse of the six “groundbreaking” films can be seen: The Bunker, based on The War Room, features Hader and Armisen caught in political warfare; Juan Likes Rice & Chicken, based on Jiro Dreams of Sushi, captures Armisen rubbing rice on his face; and the black-and-white Globesman, based on Salesman, sees Hader and Armisen putting on their best poker faces.

“I’m going to cry now,” Hader declares in a context-free scene, while perched on crutches. “It’s going to be a weird cry.”

See that weird cry in action when Documentary Now! returns Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 10 p.m. ET on IFC.
