It’s been a while since James Corden hosted a rap battle, so on Wednesday night, he gave viewers a double-sized one. Corden recruited both of his Late Late Show guests, Dave Franco and Cara Delevingne, for the latest edition of Drop the Mic, a three-way exchange of rhymes and brutal insults.

Corden started things off, hitting both Franco (“Don’t worry, there’s still time, you’ll be discovered / But I’m pretty sure we actually meant to book your brother”) and Delevingne (“It’s Cara Delevingne from Paper Towns / I wish someone dropped a match and burned that movie down”).

Delevigne hit back right away: “I’ve never heard a better reason for me to act / I see them now, the headlines about me / Cara Delevingne, the woman who saved late-night TV”).

Franco hit him back as well: “James, your show ends at 1:30 every week / So hello to the pets whose owners fell asleep”).

And that’s just the beginning. After a few more back-and-forths, Delevingne’s blistering rhymes influenced the audience to crown her the winner.
