The young cast of School of Rock on Broadway got a special surprise while they were rehearsing “Sweet Child o’ Mine” — a visit from Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash himself.

Slash joined the cast mid-performance, while one of the young actors was nailing the famous guitar solo. When the latter realizes that Slash plays along with him, he’s awestruck—you can see his jaw drop—but he and the rest of the cast keep playing like the professionals they are. Slash also performs “Paradise City” and chats with the young cast.

Stevie Nicks, whose songs are also featured in the musical, joined the cast for a special curtain call performance of “Rhiannon” in April.

See Slash’s surprise below.
