Jason Bourne’s adventure has spanned (soon to be) four films and 14 years, but Matt Damon needs only 90 seconds to explain it all.

Ahead of Friday’s release of Jason Bourne, Damon’s first time revisiting the titular role since 2007, the actor caught fans up on the franchise by very descriptively and humorously summing up the first three films in a new featurette.

Damon makes sure to get the nuts and bolts of the story, but he doesn’t miss an opportunity to add his own commentary. “I wind up at a beach front scooter shop with Marie, happily every after,” he deadpans while wrapping up the story of The Bourne Identity. “Only then two years later we’re hiding out in India when this Russian d—head frames me for murder and kills Maria. I’m super pissed.”

Jason Bourne, which also stars Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander, and Julia Stiles, arrives in theaters on Friday.
