Meet Marvel’s most notorious band of space pirates.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn debuted new footage from the sequel at Comic-Con this weekend, and although he’s since announced that he won’t be releasing that video online, he did take to Instagram to share a first look at the new Ravagers.

In the original Guardians, the blue-skinned Yondu (Michael Rooker) led the Ravagers on an interstellar chase after Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), trying to track down the orb he stole (and the Infinity Stone it contained). At Comic-Con, Gunn revealed that the Ravagers play a big part in the sequel, and they have a “contentious, even mutinous relationship” with their leader after Yondu let Quill go.

Gunn’s new photo includes one Ravager we’ve already met — Kraglin, played by Gunn’s brother Sean — but it also introduces plenty of newbies, all with names like Half-Nut, Narblik, and Gef the Ravager. At the center of it all is the notorious Taserface (Chris Sullivan), who’s known to comic book fans as a classic Guardians foe.

“It’s worth noting that four years ago when I was hired for the first Guardians film, I joked that I was going to make Taserface my villain,” Gunn wrote on Facebook. “I suppose it’s no longer a joke.”

In addition to Gunn’s official photo, Sullivan and his fellow Ravagers crashed the Marvel Comic-Con panel in costume, and Sullivan and Sean Gunn have since shared some new photos of the crew.
