Love is in the air in Philadelphia, where a couple kicked off the Democratic National Convention by getting engaged on stage.

Andrew Binns planned a surprise proposal Sunday night for fellow DNC staffer Liz Hart, who thought she was taking the stage to pose for a picture with her beau. Instead, a photo montage set to Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling” played on the big screen, ending on a picture of a beach with the words “Will you marry me?” written in sand. Binns dropped to one knee, and Hart said yes.

The pair first met in Mumbai while serving together on Vice President Biden’s advance team for a trip to India in 2013, Hart told The Daily Mail. They moved to Philadelphia to work on the DNC together.

“We’ve been working on the convention for the long time,” Binns told NBC. “It’s a historical point in our country and now a historical point for us.”

Good Morning America tweeted a video capturing the proposal. Check it out below.
