The first thing Stephen Colbert learned when he went to Cleveland to interview delegates was that few of them had Donald Trump as their first pick for the Republican nomination. Later, he also learned that few of them could distinguish real Trump quotes from false ones.

Probably the funniest segment of this “Trump or False” game came when Colbert read a line of Trump supposedly claiming he could dunk a basketball. It’s not true, but one women definitely believed it.

“I believe he can dunk a basketball,” she said. “He may not be black…”

“He’s deeply tanned, though,” Colbert said.

Much to Colbert’s surprise, another women said she would still vote for Trump even if Republicans’ beloved Ronald Reagan came back to life to oppose him.

“Today, we need a change in this country,” she said.

“Even if it was Reagan? You understand? He’s come back from heaven,” Colbert said, to no avail. This delegate, at least, is set on Trump.
