As hype continues to build for Justin Bieber’s “Cold Water” — a collaboration between Bieber, Major Lazer, and MØ — the pop star has started direct messaging fans lyrics to the impending single.

Followers that tweeted with the hashtag #ColdWater2Days began receiving verses Wednesday night. “Everybody gets high sometimes, ya know / Cause we all get lost sometimes you know / It’s how we learn and grow,” Bieber wrote.

The Purpose singer first started teasing “Cold Water” in May. “@diplo when are we bringing this new music?” he tweeted at Major Lazer frontman Diplo, with whom he worked on “Where Are Ü Now.”

Bieber has been counting down to the song’s release since early this week. Wednesday night, he shared a short video of himself tumbling into water with a caption that likely pulls from the track’s lyrics: “If you feel you’re sinking, I will jump right over, into cold, cold water for you.” He then announced “Cold Water” would arrive Thursday night.

The single marks Bieber’s first new entry since November’s Purpose, a record that gave him the largest first-week sales of his career and his sixth No. 1 album in the U.S. Watch Bieber and Major Lazer’s teasers for “Cold Water” below.
