Fans of SyFy’s Wynonna Earp are used to the off-the-wall reality of the show, but the cast is still getting acclimated to the perks and possibilities that TV stardom can bring.
Wynonna Earp stars Melanie Scrofano, Shamier Anderson, Dominique Provist-Chalkley, Tim Rozon, and Katherine Barrell stopped by the EW studio at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday to discuss crazy fan gifts and who’s the best marksmen in the cast.
“Tim got some bras,” said Anderson, getting the ball rolling. Whether or not the bras were free of packaging, the cast remained mum.
The series follows Wyatt Earp’s great granddaughter (Scrofano) as she battles demons and creatures with a posse of dysfunctional allies. Along with that setting comes the requirement to know how to handle a firearm.
“I had never picked up a gun in my life. In England we don’t do guns,” said Provost-Chalkley, responding to the overwhelming agreement from the cast that she was the best shooter. “We had some extensive training and I hit the bulls eye a couple of times.”
As far as a second season goes, the verdict is still out. “Fingers crossed,” responded the cast in unison. “We’re at Comic-Con going, ‘Please watch season 1!’”
